BENJAMIN K THERRIEN

Welcome! I’m Benjamin K Therrien, also known as “BKT.” I’m an artist who works mainly in acrylic and digital paintings.

 

My goal with every piece is to create art that feels lighthearted, bold, and graphic. I love experimenting and pushing my work into new areas, drawing inspiration from animals, sports, and everyday life.

 

I’ve been making art since I was a kid—starting with coloring books, then moving into sketchbooks and illustrations. In 2020, I began sharing my work on social media and selling pieces to friends and family. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my catalogue and explore new styles and mediums.

 

Through my art, I hope to brighten spaces, spark conversations, and inspire curiosity. More than anything, I want people to feel joy and calmness when they see my work.

 

When I’m not painting, I’m usually with my family—playing basketball, watching hockey or cartoons. I’m also a big gamer (Elden Ring = the GOAT 🐐). And here’s a fun fact: I’ve been proudly plant-based since 2015!
